A bathroom in a classic style but also with a modern taste, a place in which the white marble gives a bright look to the location, while the natural wood, used for the accessories, balances the style of whole room.
The peculiarity is given by two different scheme of marble laying: a book-matched Calacatta for the shower wall and a herringbone pattern for the floor.
The client’s desire was to give elegance and class to a place where relaxing and, at the same time, to keep the minimalism of modern bathrooms.
To follow this idea, we have chosen a precious marble, the Bianco Calacatta, which gives importance to the shower zone, thanks to the book-matched laying.
The marble is repeated on the vanity top above a furniture made of natural wood.
The choice of materials has been considered also in respect of the intended purpose, in this case a wet zone.
The Bianco Calacatta, thanks to its resistance, is perfect for wall claddings, vanity tops, shower walls and floors.
In this bathroom, the vein of marble is the protagonist, so we prefer to simplify the concept using a different and more modern type of laying on the floor.
In this way we followed the client’s desire to have an elegant en-suite room, but with an original detail.
